But he observed that there is lack of proper initiatives related to the conservation of our ancient heritage in the country. As a photographer by passion, he strongly wanted to contribute to the society by archiving the photographs of ancient cultural heritage sites and natural beauty of Bangladesh, as he believes that these photographs will inspire the next generation to initiate research on our almost extinct ancient culture and heritage. Alliance Francaise de Dhaka (AFD) organised a two-week long solo photo exhibition titled "Heritage & Panoramic Beauty of Bangladesh" by Md Abdur Rob Dulal at its La Galerie in the city's Dhanmondi area. The exhibition was inaugurated by eminent cultural personality and actor Aly Zaker as chief guest, while Javed Iqbal, first vice president, corporate affairs division of United Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL) and renowned photographer and Director of Photography, Chanchal Mahmood Photography (CMP) Chanchal Mahmood were also present as special guest and guest of honour respectively on the occasion. Olivier Litvine, Director of the AFD, gave the welcome speech at the inauguration and also chaired the session. Meanwhile, Michel Trinquier, French Ambassador in Bangladesh was also present at the function.
